My Dad was born in Suffolk, just outside Woodbridge and moved away when he was 18 to join the Metropolitan Police Force.
Lily Hammond is the founder of Uwu Studio in Ipswich, where she combines her talents as an artist and designer to focus on community-based initiatives. Through workshops, public art, and collaborations, Lily aims to make the arts approachable and meaningful for all. She’s not just creating art; she’s building a community where everyone feels welcome.
Ben is an artist, curator and hairdresser with a background in delivering creative community projects across Ipswich. They are the Founder of Guy Cry Club CIC, an organisation using art to diversify the dialogue on masculinity and mental health. Ben is also an ambassador for MANUP? a local charity breaking down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health.
Miranda has been a Freelance Marketing and Design Consultant for more years than she cares to remember. Co-founder of the Ancient House project – breathing life back into one of Ipswich’s most iconic, heritage buildings and supporting small businesses. A passionate member of Ipswich.love. Born, bred and choosing Ipswich.
James lives in Ipswich and has been a graphic designer and founder for the last 25 years. He specialises in branding, startups, guerilla marketing and effectively frustrating authority figures to deliver results. James is also co-chair of the Suffolk Autism Strategy board and a board advisor to R;ipple, a suicide prevention charity.
Following a career which took her to one of the big 4 Consultancy firms working with a variety of global clients and then the University of Suffolk, Cordelle is now a freelance business advisor. Cordelle has held voluntary postions with the social mobility charity, Career Ready. She has lived in Ipswich for over 20 years and has a long affinity with the town.
Helen Oldfield is Director of a PR & communications consultancy called Affinity PR & PR Coaching. She’s been self employed for 20 years. A former Citizens Advice CEO, now she’s Co-Director of the neurodiversity movement, Neurodelicious CIC. Helen’s PR business focuses on not-for-profits, state education, travel & tourism, arts & culture, community health & wellbeing.
Recently returned Ipswich native Marcus has nurtured a career in both independent media, project development and programme delivery in local government and the social and charitable sectors. Alongside this, he maintains an active presence in the creative industries through numerous roles in film, television, music, radio and online production.
