A Unique Evening with Dr Louise Newson

Following her hugely successful 2024 theatre tour, renowned physician and women’s hormone specialist Dr Louise Newson is back in 2026 with Breaking the Cycle: The Power of Hormones, an unmissable new show that challenges everything you’ve been told about hormones.

Why Hormones Matter

Hormones are vital chemical messengers throughout your body. They tell it what to do and when, playing crucial roles in growth, development, metabolism, emotions, sexual and reproductive function, sleep, and blood pressure. They shape how you feel — happy, sad, furious, and everything in between.

What Will You Discover?

Have you ever wondered how hormones really work? Or how to harness them for a happier, healthier life? Why is there so much confusion about hormones? What’s the difference between your natural hormones and synthetic ones like contraceptives?

In Breaking the Cycle: The Power of Hormones, Dr Louise will answer these questions and more, unpacking the science and history of hormones that is often overlooked.

Meet Dr Louise Newson

Known as “the medic who kick-started the menopause revolution,” Dr Louise will reveal decades of misinformation, medical misogyny, and attempts to silence doctors that have harmed women’s health for too long.

Expect lightbulb moments, shocking stories of power and greed, myth-busting facts, and real-life experiences. Plus, there will be an audience Q&A where you can ask Dr Louise your hormone-related questions. Through her podcast, Balance app, books, and talks, she has transformed the lives of millions worldwide.

More Than Just a Talk

This is a movement and a wake-up call. The show will inspire you to think differently about hormones and learn how to reclaim your health and confidence.

Prepare to leave feeling empowered, surprised, energized, and ready to demand better.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
