Information - Brass on the Grass 2026

Come and join us for an afternoon of music at the Arboretum in Christchurch Park

Another season of hopefully sunny afternoons for Brass on the Grass

Bring a chair and a picnic and enjoy some wonderful musicians – all for free!

The bands play in the Upper Arboretum from 2.30 – 4.30 pm with a break midway; all are free to attend. The details are as
follows:-

  • 19th July Martlesham Brass
  • 26th July Castleton Brass
  • 2nd August Tendring Brass
  • 9th August Ipswich Over 50s Band
  • 16th August Suffolk Phoenix Brass
  • 23rd August City Of Colchester Band
  • 30th August Ipswich Hospital Band
  • 6th September Woodbridge Excelsior Band
