Information - Conserving Constable: Textile Talk with Anna Peck ACR

Join us on Thursday 28 May from 6-8pm for a special Constable 250 themed talk with Anna Peck, a freelance Accredited conservator specialising in the conservation of textiles. Anna has worked with our museum collection for over 25 years carrying out both preventive and remedial conservation. In this talk, she will be sharing some highlights from her career and the work she has been doing in preparation for Constable 250: A Cast of Characters.

Following the talk, you will be able to ask Anna any questions you have about the exhibition or her work, before looking around A Cast of Characters. Doors open at 5:45pm with the talk starting promptly at 6:15pm. You will receive a welcome drink on arrival. Suitable for ages 16+.

This event will take place in both the Great Hall and the Wolsey Art Gallery. The Wolsey Art Gallery has step free access through the garden.
