Information - Dylan Moran

Get ready for a night of wit, wisdom, and a healthy dose of cynicism! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the legendary Dylan Moran to the Ipswich Corn Exchange for his brand-new show, Looking for Trouble.

Whether you know him as the star of the cult classic Black Books or as a BAFTA and Perrier award-winning comedian, you know you’re in for a treat. Dylan is bringing his unique perspective on the modern world to our town, and it’s a night you won’t want to miss.

What’s the show about?

In a world where we’re all just “chasing oblivion” (even though we’re fresh out of it), Dylan Moran asks the big questions. Do you really need that giant frozen caramel latte? Is there more to life than the “five thousand pieces of bullshit” we’ve smushed together?

Expect a hilariously dark guide on how it could all have been different. Dylan will show you how to reclaim your life by becoming a lethal kickboxing chess champion, a global lovemaking pioneer, or even a trillionaire poet-pastry chef-mountaineer. Basically, he’s inviting us all to go looking for trouble, and we couldn’t be more excited to join him.

What the critics are saying

Dylan has been receiving rave reviews across the board for this tour:

  • “Joyfully cynical” ★★★★★ – Metro
  • “Perfect for the times” ★★★★★ – The i
  • “Superb” ★★★★ – Guardian
  • “The world suddenly seems a better place.” ★★★★ – Telegraph

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
