Information - Grace Calver / Ryan Redwood

Get ready for a night of incredible live music right here in Ipswich! We are thrilled to invite you down to The Smokehouse on Friday, 12th June 2026, for a double-bill featuring some of the most exciting rising talent on the UK scene today.

Grace Calver: Sassy Britpop Vibes

Headlining the night is the brilliant Grace Calver, who is heading to the stage to celebrate the release of her latest single, ‘New Shirt’. If you love Britpop sensibilities mixed with self-deprecating humour and sassy, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, Grace is an artist you need to hear.

She’s already making a massive name for herself, with her 2025 single ‘Milk’ being featured on BBC Radio 1’s ‘For Fans of Lily Allen’ show. Having already supported big names like The Lottery Winners, Alfie Templeman, and T’Pau, Grace’s performance promises plenty of energy and earworm melodies.

Special Guest: Ryan Redwood

Joining the lineup is Ryan Redwood, a rising singer/songwriter known for his heartfelt lyricism and infectious energy. Ryan has been making serious waves across the UK lately, earning high-profile support slots for bands like Reverend & The Makers, Twin Atlantic, and Corella. His blend of emotive songwriting and stage presence makes him the perfect addition to this fantastic Friday night lineup.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
