Information - IMYA Map Making with Historic Towns Trust

Join us on June 24th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Christchurch Mansion for map-making with Historic Towns Trust.

This workshop is designed for the Ipswich Museum Young Associates, specifically for those aged 14-25.

Dive into the art and science of map making, guided by experts from the Historic Towns Trust. You’ll gain hands-on experience in cartographic techniques and understand how maps contribute to our knowledge of history. This session is a fantastic opportunity to explore geographic storytelling and how it shapes our perception of the world.

For helpful information, such as how to find us and what facilities the Mansion has, we recommend reading our Access information: Access at the Mansion | Ipswich Museums

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
