Information - Oktoberfest Ipswich

Are you ready to experience the largest Oktoberfest celebration in the UK? Join us in Ipswich for an event filled with lively music, delicious beer, and an exciting atmosphere.

This year’s Oktoberfest promises to be an unforgettable experience, surpassing the fun of 2023. We’re hosting three sessions, each with 4-5 hours of entertainment.

.Get ready for The Bavarian Strollers, our resident Oompah band. Back for their second year, they’ll get you on your feet, stein in hand!

Originating in Munich, Germany, in 1810, Oktoberfest began as a royal wedding celebration and has evolved into a global festival known for lively music, traditional German fare, and beer. In Ipswich, we bring you an authentic Oktoberfest experience.

Along with a variety of beers, expect traditional German cuisine, spirited table dancing, and stein clinking. It’s a cultural extravaganza!

Don’t Miss Out! Last year was a blast, but 2024 is set to be even bigger and better. Wear your lederhosen or dirndl and join thousands in celebrating Oktoberfest in true Bavarian style.

Prost! Let’s make Oktoberfest 2024 in Ipswich an event to remember!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
