Information - Summer Solstice Ceremony

This Summer Solstice ceremony provides space to honour the seasons together. It’s important to acknowledge the changing seasons and this ceremony celebrates the Summer season and the importance of the Sun in our lives.

We will be creating sacred space to welcome the elements, acknowledge the spirit of place and toast the sun and the abundance it brings to our lives, especially during the Summer season.

  • Please bring something with you that represents the Sun or it’s abundance to contribute to the shared solstice altar.
  • You will have time to create your own Summer spell bag to act as a container of Summer energy and intentions which is your to take home
  • We will toast the Sun with some nourishing herbal tea that is gathered from our gardens and embodies seasonal abundance
  • Solstice is a joyful time to gather together and be grateful for the simple pleasures of joy, friendship, sunshine and natural beauty and plenty

This ceremony is open to all. You do not need to be Pagan or belong to any particular path, practice or belief system, only to respect each other beliefs.

6.00-7.00pm approximately – £5

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
