Information - Talk: Margaret Rope: Painter in Light
The talk will present the latest book on this outstanding stained-glass artist.
It will place her in her historical context and connect her to two important family locations in Suffolk: Kesgrave and Blaxhall. The talk will contain many images of her windows as well as some East Anglian ones by her cousin, M. E. Aldrich Rope, herself a native of Leiston, Suffolk.

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
