The Anglia Comedy Allstars – January 2026

Get ready to laugh out loud as The Anglia Comedy Allstars returns to the Ipswich Corn Exchange this January! This year’s line-up is absolutely stacked with some of the funniest names in comedy, including the hilarious Ed Gamble, Rhys James, Esther Manito, and Brennan Reece.

Meet the Comedians

Ed Gamble is a comedy powerhouse – co-host of the award-winning podcast Off Menu with James Acaster, judge on Great British Menu, Taskmaster champion, and host of Taskmaster the Podcast. You’ve also seen him on Mock the Week, Live At the Apollo, The Russell Howard Hour, QI, Would I Lie To You?, and Sunday mornings on Radio X.

“A class act. Comedy gold!” – Time Out

Rhys James is a seasoned comedian known for his sharp wit. He’s appeared on Live at the Apollo, Roast Battle, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central, and A League of Their Own. He’s a regular on Mock The Week and has sold out six solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe. His show Snitch was one of the best-reviewed comedy shows of the year.

“A cut above his humdrum peers” – The Independent

Esther Manito is an Arab Essex girl who’s here to challenge every preconception you might have. Known for her appearances on Live at The Apollo, The Stand Up Sketch Show, and Hypothetical, Esther’s smart humour and unique perspective make her an absolute joy to watch.

“Simply brilliant” – The Voice

Brennan Reece is a multi-award-winning working-class wordsmith. Seen on Live At The Apollo, Celeb Coach Trip, and Roast Battle, Brennan is a storyteller and stand-up comedian with a special touch. He’s an Edinburgh Best Newcomer Nominee and English Comedian of the Year winner – and yes, a self-confessed mummy’s boy!

“Beautiful, raucous and touching” – The Independent

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
