Information - An Evening with the GOAT of Darts – Phil Taylor

Get ready, Ipswich! We have a truly legendary evening coming to the heart of the town. Whether you’re a die-hard darts fan or just love a good sporting success story, this is one date you’ll want to circle in your 2026 calendar.

Meet the Legend: Phil “The Power” Taylor

We are thrilled to welcome the undisputed Greatest of All Time, Phil Taylor, to the Ipswich Corn Exchange. With an incredible 16 World Championship titles under his belt, Phil’s career is the stuff of legend. This isn’t just a chance to see a sports star; it’s an opportunity to hear from a man who quite literally changed the face of darts forever.

A Journey Behind the Scenes

During the evening, Phil will take us on a deep dive into his extraordinary journey. Through an in-depth interview, he’ll be sharing the stories that defined his career—from the early days and the struggles of a rising star to the height of his championship glory.

Expect to hear firsthand accounts of those iconic matches that kept us on the edge of our seats, locker-room tales that have never been told, and the truth behind some of the greatest player rivalries in sporting history. It’s a rare, candid look into the pressure of winning and the mindset required to stay at the very top for decades.

An Immersive Experience

This isn’t just a talk; the evening will be brought to life with visual highlights from Phil’s glittering career. You’ll be able to relive those “180” moments and championship-winning doubles while hearing the man himself explain exactly what was going through his head at the time.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees.
