Information - Armistice Day service

On Armistice Day, Monday 11 November at 10.50am, veterans and children from local schools will come together at the Fields of Honour in the Old Cemetery and at the Cenotaph in Christchurch Park for services of remembrance for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the sounding of maroons will mark the start and end of a two-minute silence at 11am.

The annual Poppy Appeal launches in Ipswich on Saturday 26 October by the Mayor outside Ipswich Town Hall. Find out more about the Appeal and donate online at: www.britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/poppy-appeal

No road closures will be in place for events on Monday 11 November.
