Meet the Line-up

Sam Milne & The Tyrants

Sam Milne is a talented 16-year-old indie rock artist from Ipswich. Playing with his backing band, The Tyrants, Sam’s music dives into the rollercoaster emotions of teenage life with lyrics addressing desperation, global politics, and complex romance. Influenced by stars like Sam Fender and Fontaines D.C., Sam has already made waves locally — performing at The Smokehouse and The Brewhouse, opening Brighten the Corners Festival 2025, and selling out venues across East Anglia. His debut single “Window,” co-written with his best friend, marks just the beginning of a promising musical journey.

Mincer

Mincer aren’t just about making noise — they turn it into a powerful force. Raised on DIY punk ethics, their high-energy performances are filled with riotous breakdowns and a raw, rebellious spirit. If you love punk with a punch, Mincer will definitely raise your adrenaline.

Sophiethegreat

Meet Sophie, an indie acoustic artist with a quirky edge. Self-described as the “world’s worst singer-songwriter turned ego extraordinaire,” she’s a soup enthusiast, bunion advocate, orange lover, and white lightning hater. Her honest, relatable style brings a fun and intimate vibe to the stage.

Don’t Miss Out!

This is a brilliant opportunity to support Ipswich’s vibrant music community and catch some fantastic emerging talent in a friendly, intimate setting. Grab your tickets now, bring your friends or family (if aged 14-15), and join us for a night to remember at The Smokehouse!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
