Information - Chris Ramsey

We have some incredibly exciting news for comedy fans here in Ipswich! Following a massive, sell-out spring tour, the one and only Chris Ramsey has decided he just hasn’t had enough of the stage yet. He’s added a limited run of extra dates this autumn, and we are thrilled to welcome him to the Regent Theatre!

Chris originally vowed (repeatedly!) that he wouldn’t be adding any more dates to his tour, but the pull of the road was just too strong. He’s bringing his brand-new show, ‘Here Man’, to our town, and it promises to be a night to remember.

What’s the Show About?

If you’re a fan of his hit podcast, Shagged. Married. Annoyed, which he hosts with his (long-suffering!) wife Rosie Ramsey, then you are in for a real treat. This live stand-up show is Chris’s chance to share all the hilarious stories and observations that he simply CAN’T SAY on the podcast. It’s uncensored, trademark Chris Ramsey stand-up at its very best.

A Familiar Face

You’ll likely recognize Chris from all over your TV screen. Whether you loved watching him take on the challenge of Strictly Come Dancing, laughed at his antics on Taskmaster, or caught him presenting Children in Need and The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show, you know you’re in safe hands for a fantastic evening of entertainment.

His high-energy style and relatable storytelling have made him one of the UK’s most popular comedians, and seeing him live at a venue like the Regent Theatre is the best way to experience his comedy.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
