Information - Dementia friendly swimming session
Allows you to continue doing something you love, or give you a chance to try something new in a safe and supportive environment.
Swimming is a great all round activity that is beneficial to everyone, particularly those living with dementia, as the sensation can be calming and soothing.
We have staff on hand to support you. You will be offered assistance if you need it at reception, and on poolside, giving you the confidence to enjoy swimming as part of an active lifestyle.
