Information - Drop Spindle Spinning

Learn all about the ancient ways of making wool! Jan Biddle from @wollenstone will guide you through the basics of making wool on a drop spindle. The drop spindle preceded the spinning wheel and is a great way to create with a basic kit and can be done anywhere!

Finished yarns will be washed and ready to collect a few days later.

This workshop is a wonderful introduction into working with fibres in a traditional way.

All tools and materials are provided, with an option to buy your own spinner and materials to take away and carry on spinning at home!
