146th ANNUAL OPEN EXHIBITION 2025 – Paintings, Drawings, Ceramics, Textiles, Prints and Sculptures by Art Society Members and Independent Artists

All Welcome to this celebration of Visual Art at St Clement’s Arts Centre

A wide range of art, from paintings and drawings to ceramics and sculpture, feature in the 146th Annual Open Exhibition of Ipswich Art Society.  The exhibition opens on Saturday May 17 at St Clement’s Art Centre, Ipswich. The official opening is at 1pm and it is then open daily, 10am to 4.30pm, through till Saturday June 7.  Admissions is free.

Stephen Cassidy, chair of the society, said: “We are very pleased to be back at this beautiful venue. We have a lot of new work and we have some artists making their debut this time.  There is some impressive work on display, with 185 pieces chosen for display, including oils, paintings and drawings, prints and textiles and in lots of different styles. It is open to society members and other independent artists and the artists taking part are right across the age range. Come along and take a look.”

Ipswich Art Society is among the oldest cultural organisations in the town and is open to professional and amateur artists.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place
