Information - Ipswich Town Art Trail

Start the Trail at Ipswich Unitarian Meeting House in central Ipswich – Friars Street, IP1 1TD It is beside the also grade 1 listed Willis glass building designed by Sir Norman Foster.

10 venues across the town featuring exhibitions, art demonstrations, drop-in mini workshops and artists working “live”.

Watch demonstrations by Ipswich artists, participate in art workshops, and view some amazing art, buildings, spaces, and galleries. Meet and chat to the Ipswich visual arts community, and find out what a creative bunch we are.

As part of the trail for 2026 we have 10 Ipswich Town Centre venues for you to visit:

  • AMPP on Dove Street

  • Christchurch Mansion

  • Ginnel Foto Fest on Clarkson Street

  • Greenhouse Gallery on St Nicholas Street

  • Le Garagiste on Bond Street

  • MF Gallery on St Helens Street

  • Hidden Garden Cafe (at Puzzle Boutique) on St Peters Street

  • Stoke Bridge Workshops on Stoke Street

  • St Clements Art Centre on Fore Street

  • Unitarian Meeting House on Friars Street
