Information - Ipswich Record Fair

Calling all music lovers and vinyl collectors! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Ipswich Record Fair is returning to town, and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever before. Whether you’re a seasoned “crate digger” looking for a rare gem or you’re just starting your collection, this is the place to be.

Crate Digging and Hidden Gems

Get ready to browse through thousands of records and CDs. From the latest new releases to those hard-to-find second-hand classics, there’s something for every musical taste. Whether you’re into rock, jazz, soul, electronic, or indie, you’ll find plenty of stalls to explore. It’s the perfect opportunity to find that one album you’ve been hunting for or discover something completely new to take home.

A Great Atmosphere with Live DJs

This isn’t just a market; it’s a celebration of music culture! To keep the vibes high while you browse, we’ll have DJs spinning tracks throughout the day. It’s the perfect soundtrack for a Sunday spent discovering great music in a stunning local setting.

Fuel Your Browsing

Need a break between browsing the stacks? The Church’s cafe and bar will be open as usual. You can grab a freshly brewed coffee to start your morning, or if you’re feeling more in the Sunday spirit, enjoy a drink from the bar. There will also be plenty of snacks available to keep your energy up while you hunt for that perfect vinyl.

Accessibility and Practical Info

We want everyone to enjoy the day. The venue is fully accessible with step-free access into the building. The bar area, venue floor, and accessible toilets are all located on one level. If you have any specific requirements to make your visit more comfortable, please feel free to reach out to the venue staff on the day.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
