Information - Joining granny squares

Are you struggling to join your granny squares together?

Then this workshop is the answer to your dilemma!

During the session I will share with you how to join your squares together so they look nice and neat.

There are lots of different ways to join your squares but I love the look and ease of the flat slip stitch on the seams of the granny square blanket.

I will show you how to do the Flat slip stitch on your seams which creates a beautiful finish to your granny square blankets.

And you will then be able to put it into practice during the session

I will also show you how to do the invisible join using a needle.

All materials will be provided, however if you have made the squares for a blanket that is in need of joining then please bring that and the yarn you are using with you and we can make a start on joining it together.

The workshop lasts 2 hours and includes refreshments too.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
