Information - LIVE/WIRE: The AC/DC SHOW

Ready to rock, Ipswich? We have a treat for all the music lovers in town! Get your air guitars ready because the legendary sounds of AC/DC are coming to the heart of our town center.

If you’re a fan of high-octane rock ’n’ roll, you won’t want to miss LIVE/WIRE: The AC/DC SHOW. Widely regarded as one of the most authentic tributes to the greatest rock band of all time, Live/Wire brings the true passion and thunderous energy of a real AC/DC concert right to our very own Corn Exchange.

A High Voltage Experience

This isn’t just a tribute; it’s a critically acclaimed, two-hour “High Voltage” journey through rock history. Live/Wire doesn’t hold back on the production, either. Expect a full bank of Marshall amps and those iconic cannons to deliver a wall of sound that will have the Corn Exchange shaking!

The setlist is a dream for any fan, spanning decades of hits. You’ll be taken on a musical journey from the record-breaking Back in Black all the way through to their 2020 release PWR UP. Plus, for the purists, there is always a healthy dose of the classics from the legendary Bon Scott era. Whether you love the early days or the modern anthems, they’ve got it covered.

Meet the Band

The secret to Live/Wire’s success is their incredible line-up of professional musicians who share a genuine love for the band. They’ve spent over 20 years touring and honing their craft to ensure every note is perfect:

  • Podge Blacksmith delivers the unmistakable vocal power of Brian Johnson.
  • Simon Davies brings the virtuoso talent and school-boy energy of Angus Young.
  • Dan Mosley holds it all together with the metronome-like accuracy of Malcolm Young.
  • Eddie Clark provides the rock-solid bass lines of Cliff Williams.
  • James Last keeps the groove going behind the kit, just like Phil Rudd.

Join Us on the Highway to Hell!

Ipswich, it’s time to relive some of those classic AC/DC concerts of the past. Grab your friends, warm up your vocal cords, and get ready to sing along to the biggest anthems in rock. We’ll see you down the front!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
