Information - MOSKITO / FLEAS

Get ready for an absolute powerhouse of a night as we welcome the sensational MOSKITO to Ipswich! If you love high-energy live music, mammoth riffs, and haunting melodies, then you will definitely want to clear your diary for this one. Here at Ipswich.love, we are thrilled to share all the details for what promises to be one of the loudest, most exciting gigs of the summer at one of our favourite grassroots venues, The Smokehouse.

Meet the Headliners: MOSKITO

Hailing from the East Midlands, this band of self-described reprobates has been causing absolute pandemonium in the UK music scene. Despite being together for a relatively short time, MOSKITO have already caught the attention of major industry heavyweights, earning rave reviews and radio play from the likes of BBC Radio 1, NME, Rolling Stone, Kerrang! Magazine, Rock Sound, Planet Rock, and BBC Music Introducing.

Their explosive energy has landed them coveted spots at major festivals like Teddy Rocks, Lume Fest, Castle Fest, Beam Me Up, and Badland Festival, where they have dominated crowds alongside massive names like Feeder, The Enemy, Kid Kapichi, Dream State, Jake Bugg, and Snayx. This is your chance to catch them up-close and personal in Ipswich before they start selling out massive arenas!

Fantastic Support Acts

As if MOSKITO wasn’t enough, the night features support from the brilliant FLEAS, with more acts to be confirmed. It is going to be a stellar line-up of non-stop live music from start to finish.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
