Journey around our theatre and gain exclusive insights into how our fabulous productions develop from basic concepts into the dazzling performances you see on stage!
You’ll have the chance to:
- Learn more about our technical teams and exactly what they do to make a show run smoothly.
- Take a trip under our stage to demonstrate how our trap doors work during our Rock ‘n’ Roll panto.
- Get right above the stage in what are called the ‘flys’ – where all of our stage lights and other technical equipment are rigged for shows.
- Take a peek at the sound desk, where our Sound Operators work tirelessly to mix all the sounds of a show together!
- Take a look at the early makings of a show, including seeing costume design sketches and tiny scale ‘model boxes’ of what a show will look like before the real thing is made.
- With the chance to also learn about our vibrant history and extensive programme of additional work we do within the community, this is the perfect tour to find out about everything New Wolsey Theatre!
