Information - Ross Noble

Get ready to laugh until your cheeks hurt, Ipswich! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the incomparable master of stream-of-consciousness comedy to our wonderful town. The one, the only, Ross Noble is bringing his brand-new tour to the Ipswich Regent Theatre, and it promises to be an unforgettable night of pure, unscripted hilarity.

Whether you are a long-time fan or new to his legendary stand-up, this is the perfect excuse to plan a fantastic night out in Ipswich. Grab some dinner at one of our lovely Waterfront restaurants, and then head over to the theatre for an evening of non-stop giggles!

What’s the Show About?

Roll up, roll up! Or, you know, just use a more conventional form of transport to get to the Regent Theatre—it is entirely your choice! However, we (and Ross) strongly advise trying not to get trapped in a barrel before or during the performance. Despite the famous expression “a barrel of laughs,” it may seriously impede your enjoyment of the show (and your ability to get through the theatre doors!).

Ross Noble is famously known as the “Wizard of Waffle,” “The Rambler Royale,” and “The Noodlers’ Noodler.” He is back live on stage to tour a literal tornado of tangents. What will the show actually be about? Well, honestly, anybody’s guess! But that is all part of the magic when you take a peek inside his wonderful “Cranium of Curiosities.” No two shows are ever the same, making this a truly unique live experience.

Why We Love the Regent Theatre

There is nothing quite like the atmosphere of the Ipswich Regent Theatre. As East Anglia’s largest theatre, it has a rich history and a warm, welcoming vibe that makes big comedy nights feel incredibly special. Plus, every ticket purchased helps support this beautiful historic building for future generations.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
