Information - Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® Romeo & Juliet

Experience the Hilarious Chaos of Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® Romeo & Juliet in Ipswich!

Get ready, Ipswich! The smash-hit, internationally acclaimed, award-winning, multi-sell-out phenomenon Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® is back with a wildly entertaining twist on one of William Shakespeare’s most beloved plays: Romeo and Juliet.

What to Expect

Prepare yourself for an unconventional, no-holds-barred, and tipsily tragic take on the classic tale. Our talented cast will bring you a delightfully drunken performance featuring characters like a rat-arsed Romeo, a juiced-up Juliet, a trollied Tybalt, and a mashed-up Mercutio—all while consuming enough booze to sterilise a brewery floor! This isn’t your usual Shakespearean tragedy – this is a riotous, laughter-filled night out like no other. The cup truly overfloweth with fun and mishaps!

Everyone in Verona knows the bitter feud between the Capulet and Montague families. But perhaps the only cure for centuries of family rivalry is two star-crossed teenagers falling in love… and maybe a swig or two of the finest spirits to gently nudge them in the right direction. What could possibly go wrong? Come and find out!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
