Information - The Trianon Prom

Get your flags ready and your voices warmed up! We are thrilled to invite you to one of the most anticipated nights in the Ipswich musical calendar: **The Trianon Prom**.

On Saturday, 12th September 2026, the historic Corn Exchange will be filled with the soaring sounds of the Trianon Music Group for a night of patriotic classics, stirring choral works, and orchestral masterpieces. Whether you’re a seasoned concert-goer or looking for a fun night out with the family, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

A Night of Musical Magic

This year’s programme is a real treat. Led by Steve Browne, the orchestra and choir will take us through a journey of familiar and beloved tunes. You can look forward to the majestic Zadok the Priest by Handel—a piece guaranteed to give you goosebumps—and Benjamin Britten’s brilliant The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.

Joining the ensemble is the incredibly talented soprano soloist, Muriel Kwint, whose performance is sure to be a highlight of the evening. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a “Prom” without all the traditional favourites to get everyone in the spirit!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
